Using this trick a specified network can be autoconnected at specified time using batch file

Creating autoconnect batch file

STEP 1: Open a notepad, paste

rasdial <connection name> <Username> <password>

eg.if ur user name is abc,connection name is network and password is 12345 then it will be

rasdial network abc 12345

step:2
Name the file as connect and change the extention from .txt to .bat and Make a new folder in C:/ drive and keep the batch file in the folder

Scheduling Automatic Connection Using These Batch Files

Here we can schedule automatic connection to broadband using the inbuilt Windows Task Scheduler. Here is how to do it.



1. Open control panel=>Scheduled Task. Add scheduled Task. This will open ***8216;Scheduled Task Wizard***8217;. Here you will see a list of programs which you can schedule. Click ***8216;Browse***8217; and go to the folder where you saved ***8216;connect.bat***8217; and select it.

2. Give the task, a name say, connect1 and set the frequency say ***8216;daily***8217; and click next.

3. Select the start time and start date. Start date will be today and set the start time to the time you get unlimited downloads.

4. In the next step it will ask for you computer user name and password. If you have single user computer, this field will be filled already ,so click next.

5. Tick ***8216;Open advanced properties for task when I click finish***8217; and click next.
